Container volume at Ningbo-Zhoushan Port exceeded in 2021 has exceeded 30m teu for the first time.

　　This makes Ningbo-Zhoushan the third port in the world to achieve container volume of over 30m teu in a single year after Shanghai and Singapore. 

　　The port has played a key role in the development of Belt and Road Initiatives, Yangtze Economic Belt initiative, and the integration of Yangtze river delta, providing strong support to implement national development strategy.

　　To enhance container shipping network, Ningbo-Zhoushan port newly added 27 container services this year and promoted sea-rail combined transportation, acting as a hub port for both sea and land container transportation.
